She graduated in three years with a double major in Legal Studies and Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Davis. While dedicating her studies to defending those charged with various crimes, she defended clients throughout both Northern California and Southern California through internships in various Public Defender’s Offices. Hazel Espejo has represented criminal defendants throughout the Counties of Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego and Ventura. Her compassion, knowledge, and determination allow her to guide her clients through the criminal justice system so that the client can make an informed decision in order to protect his or her future. In addition to representing defendants facing criminal charges, Hazel Espejo also represents individuals in civil legal disputes involving the formation or breach of contract, wage and hour disputes, wrongful termination and workplace discrimination.
