Greta dedicates her practice to helping victims of nursing home abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, wrongful death and catastrophic injury. She is passionate about helping victims and their family members. âWhen I work on behalf of a client I am completely invested in their cause,â said Greta. âItâs very rewarding to see hard work translate into a positive outcome for our clients.â
As a law student, Greta clerked for the Illinois Attorney General, the Office of the Executive Inspector General, and a plaintiffâs firm concentrating in Consumer Protection. She was also a Teaching Assistant for an Alternative Dispute Resolution class. Greta served as the Presiding Barrister of the Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution Honors Board and Council, and participated on several of the schoolâs trial teams.
Greta received her B.A. in Communications from The University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006. During college, Greta interned for a State Representative. She was nominated to the Universityâs Homecoming Court and was involved in the Miss Wisconsin competition. In 2009, she earned her Masterâs degree in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University. While attending graduate school, she worked as a Professional Speaker for Making It Count, a division of Monster Worldwide.
Outside of work, Greta enjoys mentoring law students and remains involved in John Marshallâs Trial Advocacy program where she serves as a trial team coach. She is a member of the Women's Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
Greta grew up in Carbondale, Ill. and studied violin and voice for over 15 years. She now lives in downtown Chicago and enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
