George T. Waddoups has been immersed in the world of law since 1982. Hailing from Brigham City, Utah, he has developed a profound connection with the state and its people throughout his career. Whether it's through his legal practice or his involvement in the community, George's dedication shines through.
Raised with a strong sense of civic duty, George has always been deeply engaged in community activities, from teaching high school seminary to coaching various sports teams. His passion for education, instilled in him during his own studies at Utah State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Pre-law, along with a minor in Economics, has extended to his own children, two of whom, Riley and Michelle Waddoups, have followed in his footsteps into the legal profession.
With a Juris Doctorate from Memphis State University, George's commitment to learning and growth is evident. Over the span of his career, he has represented numerous clients, successfully securing over $300 million in settlements and verdicts. One of his most significant cases involved a tragic trucking accident resulting in wrongful death, where George's relentless advocacy led to a $58.5 million verdict, providing much-needed relief to the victim's family.
Beyond his legal practice, George is actively involved in various legal organizations, earning recognition as a Super Lawyer and being named to the Legal Elite for his outstanding contributions. His dedication to justice extends beyond accolades, as evidenced by his tireless efforts to ensure fair compensation for his clients and his philanthropic endeavors, regularly supporting charitable causes.
Outside of work, George cherishes moments with his five children, enjoying outdoor activities at Bear Lake and cruising on his Harley motorcycle, exploring the scenic Midwest.
