He has served on numerous State Bar of Texas and American Bar Association committees, including committees on sales and financial transactions, compensation, employee benefits, inheritance tax, and corporate tax problems.

- Activities: Mr. Hoffman is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Order of the Alamo, the Board of Directors of the San Antonio Quarterback Club, the Texas Cavaliers, and is currently serving on the Stewardship Committee of Christ Episcopal Church.
