Emily T Art
Emily T. Art became an associate attorney at Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard P.C. in 2023, after serving as a law clerk since 2022. She focuses on personal injury, medical negligence, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury cases.
In her first trial with the firm, Ms. Art and the trial team secured a $12.2 million jury verdict for a tractor-trailer driver injured in a crash on I-70. During her time as a law clerk, she assisted in a landmark $363 million jury verdict against medical sterilization plant Sterigenics and contributed to a $32.7 million medical negligence case, the highest verdict on record for the loss of a leg or foot.
Before joining Salvi, Schostok & Pritchard, Ms. Art worked at another prominent Chicago personal injury firm, where she drafted legal documents, managed case files, and facilitated client communications.
Ms. Art earned her law degree with honors from UIC School of Law, where she was Finance Chair of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. She received the merit-based D. Mann Scholarship and the "Top Grade Award" in Civil Procedure II. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and History from Clark University.
In her free time, Ms. Art enjoys cooking, baking, and cycling along Chicago's lake shore.
