Do yourself a favor... hire Ellis Klein
I hired Ellis Klein to represent me in a serious traffic violation. I was cited with 3 tickets and would have had a minimum of 9 points added to my records as well as a possible suspended license plus, fines & of course an increase to my insurance rates. Ellis told me what steps to take, before the court date, that looked good in the eyes of the court. Then, on the day of court, Ellis worked with the citing officer to successfully negotiate a greatly reduced charge; which the court approved for NO POINTS and fines only. Also, I did not have to enter the court room or talk to the officer or judge, Ellis took care of everything. Ellis is friendly and pleasant to work with. The experience with Ellis Klein as representation made a moment in court that could have otherwise been scary & intimidating go as smoothly and reassuringly as possible. Do yourself a favor and hire Ellis B. Klein with confidence.

Gave me the best possible outcome
During my consultation, Mr. Klein clearly explained my options and made it easy for me to decide on my course of action. He instructed me of important next steps to take before the court appearance. He communicated everything clearly and kept in touch after pandemic-related delays, giving me his personal cell phone number. Finally, his guidance in court led to a full dismissal.

Summary

25 office locations throughout Pennsylvania. Call for nearest office location.

I am a former Senior Deputy District Attorney with personal experience in over 10,000 court cases, ranging from minor traffic offenses to homicide. In addition to criminal and traffic defense, I have been practicing Bankruptcy since 1999 and have helped thousands of clients get a Fresh Financial Start.
My practice is limited to Criminal, DUI, Traffic and Bankruptcy cases. I am NOT a general practitioner who handles many different types of law. Criminal and Bankruptcy law is the only law that I have practiced since I became a lawyer over 25 years ago.
Over the past 25+ years of practice I have worked with thousands of police officers and have appeared in court on countless occasions. Few attorneys possess my firm’s background and extensive experience in this area of the law.

CUSTOMER SERVICE - I treat clients the way I would want to be treated if I was experiencing legal problems – with honesty, kindness and respect. I do not tell clients what they want to hear just to get a case. I do not scare clients into retaining me. I will never say to a client “Don’t worry about it.” What I do is tell clients the truth, right over the phone. I call clients back, even at night or on weekends. Additionally, my staff is well-informed and very helpful if I am not in the office when you call.

FREE IN-DEPTH CONSULTATIONS - I gladly talk to new clients over the phone, for as long as you wish. I will answer every question that you have over the phone, or even in person if you prefer, for free. I will gladly explain all of your options, give you my honest opinion about what could happen to you and I even quote a fee and a flexible payment plan, right over the phone. I believe that an informed client is the best client. Again, if I was having legal problems, that is the way that I would want to be treated.

Q. I recently got a speeding ticket (fine $257) with pointed offense. I was driving at 44mph on 25 speed limit. Please help
A: You should definitely pleas not guilty as you are looking at 4 points on your license (5 is the most you can get in PA for a ticket). You don’t want to plead guilty because your insurance can increase as a result. Additionally, if you do get points and you get another violation within a year, if you go over six points you could lose your license were at the very least PennDOT make you take the test again. So it is always worth it to go to court. Depending upon who your judge is, some judges will allow your lawyer to go to court without you so you may not have to attend the hearing. My best advice is to start calling around and interviewing traffic defense attorneys to see who is best equipped to help you try to get out of the points. Good luck!
Q. I got a ticket Driving with a Suspended License (DUI ) 1543 B but my license was suspended by 1543A ( Driving
A: You need to retain a lawyer or at least consult with one. If you are wrong, there is mandatory jail time that ranges from 60 days to 6 months. If your license was ever suspended for DUI and if it was never restored then it is in fact a DUI suspension. The law says it is always going to be DUI suspended until and unless it gets restored. To answer your question, if you are cited with the wrong law then you can ask for dismissal. Get a lawyer as the consequences are severe. Good luck
Q. I was pulled over on the highway doing 90 in a 55 by a cop involved in a speed trap. He determined my speed by using th
A: You need to go to court. For the driving under suspension charge you are facing ay least 60 days in the county prison of convicted. If you can get your license restored by the time you go to court, there is a better chance that this works out without jail time. Hire an experienced lawyer to represent you in court. Best of luck!
