Biography

Elder abuse attorney Ed Dudensing formed his Sacramento, California, law firm in 2003. He solely represents victims of nursing home neglect and abuse, a specialization that led him to secure the first and second largest elder abuse verdicts in the history of Sacramento County.

After gaining an undergraduate degree in political science from Berkeley, Mr. Dudensing graduated from the University of California Davis Law School in 1994 with honors the equivalent of magna cum laude. He earned several honors, including the Order of the Barrister for excellence in oral advocacy and the Order of Coif for academic excellence. He was executive editor of the UC Davis Law Review.

In addition to being a highly successful litigator, Mr. Dudensing is a passionate advocate for change. He is a member of the National Citizens Coalition for Nursing Home Reform, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the National Crime Victim Bar Association and the American Association for Justice-Nursing Home Litigation Group. He also serves on the advisory board of directors for the National Crime Victim Bar Association.
