Donna Virkus brings a wealth of experience to her practice of family law. Having gone through a divorce herself, and having two young children at the time, she knows first hand the concerns and anxiety that clients have during the divorce process. She counsels her clients through the process, assisting the achievement of their goals and helping to bring their cases to resolution. Donna aims to assist her clients avoid needless escalation of a stressful and difficult situation.
Donna earned her undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University with a major in Industrial Marketing. She has a vast amount of experience in business ranging from managing accounts to starting a new business and making it a successful and thriving company. After her divorce, she decided to make a career change. She went back to college knowing she wanted to earn a graduate degree and she then took steps to enter law school. By achieving a high score on the LSAT she was able to be admitted to Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law school on a scholarship.
Donna currently handles family law cases. She primarily practices in Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne Counties and also handles cases in some of the surrounding counties.
