Don and I frequently bounce legal ideas and questions off one another. Even when we disagree, which is rare, I respect his opinion greatly. There is more than one way to do this job, and Don handles his cases admirably.

Don is one of the best lawyers I know at considering the perspectives of the bench and prosecutor's office, which is difficult -- those folks often have a different mindset and world-view than defense lawyers. He is smart on the law, too.
