Diane Baker
Diane Baker is an AV-Rated Estate Planning and Business Law attorney. She has over 30 years experience practicing law in Atlanta.
She enjoys working with families to develop personalized Wills, Trusts and estate plans, based on each individual's personal goals. She also helps clients through the complexities of Probate, and the challenges of Will Contests and Estate Disputes. Her goal is to address each client’s personal objectives, while making the legal process understandable.
Diane's other major area of practice is business law, which she has practiced for over 30 years. Her work in this area includes general corporate law, limited liability companies (LLCs), new business formation, contracts, and general business law matters.
Diane received her undergraduate degree, Summa Cum Laude, from Oglethorpe University, and her law degree, With Distinction, from Emory University's School of Law.
Diane began her legal career with the prestigious Atlanta firm of Hansell & Post, which is now Jones Day. Later, she served as Senior Counsel for NationsBank (now Bank of America). She founded her own law firm in 1999.
She is active in community and professional organizations, having served as President of the Oglethorpe University Alumni Association, and as a Trustee of Oglethorpe University. She is a member of the prestigious Atlanta Estate Planning Council, and is honored to have served as President of the Estate Planning Council of North Georgia. She is also the former Chair of the Georgia ElderCare Symposium, which has grown into the National ElderCare Matters Network.
The founding attorney of Baker Law Group, Diane is a frequent speaker at estate and financial planning seminars.

Rates, Retainers and Additional Information
Wills, Trusts and Estate Planning are handled on a flat fee basis, so that you know what the total cost sell be. Your flat fee quote is provided in writing at your initial consultation. Probate cases may be handled on a flat fee basis, if there are no disputes and no unusual complexities. Will Contests and Estate Disputes are generally handled on a hourly rate basis.
