Would not recommend. Don't feel that she fought for me at all.
Dawn was not very effective at notifying me that IL had changed their number of overnights in reference to custody/child support, defining what becomes of a shared car in a divorce, and explaining who or what designates winter break for an agreement. Would not recommend her as a divorce lawyer. Also, she withdrew from my case shortly after I notified her I would need to switch to a payment plan.
Dawn Maxwell's Response: Bernard, I deeply regret you resorted to posting this review in an attempt to disparage my reputation and business. I diligently represented you for over two years and you voiced no complaints until I had to withdraw due to your verbal abuse. I worked out a payment plan and continued to work for you even though you could not keep current on your bill. But as you clearly know full well, I withdraw when you became verbally abusive.
