David W.S. Lieberman
Member of the Whistleblower Law Collaborative
David W. S. Lieberman, an experienced complex commercial litigator and former Assistant Attorney General, focuses his practice on representing whistleblowers prosecuting fraud under the False Claims Act and other qui tam statutes as a Member of the Whistleblower Law Collaborative.
Mr. Lieberman is a graduate of Columbia University School of Law, where he was a Stone and Kent Scholar and served as Managing Editor of the Columbia Law Review, and of Tufts University. He served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Bruce M. Selya of the First Circuit Court of Appeals. He began his career at the Massachusetts Attorney General's Criminal Bureau, and later as an associate at Ropes & Gray and Day Pitney LLC.
Mr. Lieberman presently serves as a Lecturer at Boston University School of Law, teaching writing to first-year law students. Powderhouse Law LLC primarily represents False Claims Act and other qui tam whistleblowers along with attorneys Bob Thomas and Suzanne Durrell in Whistleblower Law Collaborative -- one of the pre-eminent qui tam practices nationwide.
