David L. Thibodeaux
David has a keen sense for legal argument, a refined attention to detail, compassion for those around him, and a willingness to work hard. In whatever situation you bring to him, your problems become his problems and your goals become his goals.
David graduated magna cum laude from the charter class of Belmont University College of Law. While at Belmont, David served as Editor-in-Chief of the Belmont Law Review. He also received the Best Performance Award in Law and Economics and was recognized on the Dean’s List five times.
In addition to his work in the law, David has had a long career in music publishing. He is a sought after editor, transcriber, and engraver in the Nashville area and has a long track record of business success in that industry.
David is a published author in the area of adoption law policy. His note, Whose Rights Should Prevail: Toward a Child-Centric Approach to Revocation of Birth Parent Consent in Domestic Infant Adoption was selected to be published in the inaugural edition of The Belmont Law Review.
David is a long-time resident of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, where he lives with his wife Toni and three of his five children. His oldest daughter lives in a neighboring county with David’s three grandchildren. His second oldest daughter lives near Murfreesboro where she attends Middle Tennessee State University. He enjoys playing music, motorcycling, tent camping, and studying theology.
