I am a successful trial and appellate litigation attorney for Constitutional, Business, Antitrust, and Entertainment law matters. My jurisdictions include U.S. District and State Courts in California, the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 9th, 10th and D.C. Circuits. I represent clients from an array of industries with an emphasis on Television, Motion Picture, Recording, and Advertising issues.
I am a Harvard Law School graduate, having received my A.B. summa cum laude in 1991, and J.D. magna cum laude in 1995. With extensive experience and success, my accomplishments include numerous precedent-setting victories. I am committed to diligent representation focused on the best possible results.
I am also dedicated to pro bono work, having advanced civil rights with historic rulings. I have received many honors, including a Humanitarian Award (Beth Chayim Chadashim), Equality Advocate Award (Equality California), and Liberty Award (Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund). Additionally, I have been recognized as a California Super Lawyer since 2006.
