David R. Bruegel is a lawyer who works in many domains, including estate planning, divorce, lawsuits/disputes, general practice, agriculture, wills, trusts, powers of attorney (financial and patient advocacy), deeds, leases, land contracts, guardianships, probate, elder law, and incompetency/incapacity proceedings. Bruegel holds an AB in History from Albion College, where he graduated summa cum laude and with Phi Beta Kappa honors, and a JD from Notre Dame Law School. There he was the founding designee for the International Barrister Award. He is also certified in Estate Planning by the Michigan State Bar and the Institute of Continuing Education, the Bar’s vehicle to meet the Michigan Supreme Court’s ultimate responsibility to ensure that lawyers stay current. He was a Rhodes Scholarship nominee. Bruegel currently serves as a member of the State Bar Association of Michigan, Institute of Continuing Legal Education, Mason Chamber of Commerce, Mason Rotary Club, Ingham County Bar Association, Greater Lansing Estate Planning Council, the Gaelic League of Detroit, and the Ingham County Bar Association.
