Prior to opening her own law firm, Ms. Miller worked for one of the most successful personal injury law firms in the country litigating catastrophic personal injury cases. Before that, Ms. Miller worked for a large national insurance defense firm where she practiced in the areas of general liability insurance defense and insurance bad faith. By leveraging her knowledge of insurance company tactics, Ms. Miller learned to effectively dismantle attempts to undermine her clients’ claims, ensuring that her clients’ rights and needs are front and center throughout the entire legal process.

- At Gina Corena & Associates, I lead the firm’s personal injury litigation department, which included litigating motor vehicle accidents, rideshare accidents, dog bites, construction accidents, slip and falls, and insurance bad faith claims. My duties included investigating claims and screening potential clients to evaluate the merits of their case, litigation case strategy, settlement negotiations, reviewing draft pleadings and written discovery, deposing percipient witnesses and expert witnesses, as well as extensive motion and hearing practice. I also handled pre-litigation aspects of our client’s claims, including resolving property damage, requesting medical bills and records, and lien reduction requests. - From 2011 through 2014, my primary practice area was general insurance defense litigation representing commercial insureds in motor vehicle accidents and premises liability lawsuits. From 2014 through 2019, my practice evolved into handling third-party and first-party insurance bad faith claims in both state and federal court. At Lewis Brisbois, I handled every aspect of every case including reviewing and disclosing claim files, analyzing and evaluating the insurance adjuster’s claim handling, reviewing and interpreting insurance policies, drafting document disclosures, propounding written discovery, taking witness and expert depositions, preparing 30(b)(6) witnesses for deposition and defending the same, arguing motions, and extensive dispositive motion practice with a nearly perfect dispositive motion record.
