Trial Defense Services: United State's Army Reserve, J.A.G.; 2005 - 2012

Assistant Attorney General: Illinois Attorney General's Office; 1999 - 2012; Assistant Attorney General in the Trial Assistance and Sexually Violent Persons Bureau. Began with the AG's office prosecuting child sex crimes and then transferred to Trial Assistance and SVP Bureaus. Prosecuted wide variety of criminal offenses ranging from 1st Degree Murder to Drug Possession to Aggravated DUI. SVP Bureau work involved seeking civil commitment of those sex offenders who were about to be released from prison.

Assistant Public Defender: Jackson County Public Defenders Office; 1997 - 1999; Traffic Assistant assigned to Misdemeanor Traffic (DWLS/DWLR) cases and DUI cases.
