Relentlessly defending your rights, your freedom, your life.
I defend all criminal accusations with the upmost seriousness, thoroughness and relentless determination to win.
I do this because whether the government is charging you with a misdemeanor or felony, it is threatening to take away your most invaluable and irreplaceable possessions: your rights, your freedom, your reputation, contact with your family and friends, and indeed your very life.
Even in cases where jail or prison is not part of a sentence, probation can limit your freedom and take away basic Constitutional rights. Your right to privacy - to refuse to consent to a warrantless search of your person, home, possessions, and vehicle - can be taken away from you. A criminal conviction can harm jobs and careers; it can limit employment opportunities. If you are not a United States citizen, it can subject you to deportation.
To defend against those and other possible consequences, your case deserves a thorough review and full legal defense analysis that takes into account not only all of the evidence police and prosecutors believe they have collected against you.
It absolutely must also include all of the evidence available from listening to you and coming to an understanding of your version of the incident by a smart and tough defense attorney who is willing, able, and prepared to take your case all the way to trial if you choose to do so.

- Q. Is my son's nearly 6-year-old pending case in California beyond the statute of limitations due to court delays?
- A: The only "statute of limitations" in criminal law applies to the filing of charges by the DA, not to the timing of a "speedy trial" after charges are filed in court. The California Criminal Code provides deadlines for certain courtroom proceedings, such as preliminary hearings and trials, but those deadlines can be waived by the defendant. Deadlines can be reactivated when a defendant decides to withdraw a waiver. A defendant's lawyer may waive or withdraw a waiver only upon the consent of the defendant in open court. After charges are filed, unjustifiable delays in bringing a case to trial that are attributable to the prosecution can be challenged by the defendant ... Read More
- Q. Is it legal to charge DUI for meth after zero alcohol found?
- A: If they did not have probable cause (that is, sound evidence) that he was probably somehow intoxicated before they arrested him, the DUI charge will not stand. Straddling a double yellow is sufficient evidence for a traffic stop but is insufficient for a DUI arrest. They commonly try to obtain the necessary evidence prior to arrest by conducting field sobriety tests.
- Q. Is it possible to get arrested at entering the country (At the airport) for a crime commited 18 years ago?
- A: For a modest fee, a criminal law defense attorney may be retained to look into the matter and provide the best method for resolution.
