Hello! And welcome to my short biography.
My legal background is in Business Law, Commercial Litigation and Appeals. I handle business set ups, agreements, contracts and disputes. I have represented clients in both state and federal court and handle appeals. I have represented clients in arbitrations and mediations. I am a designated arbitrator for FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Agency).
Early in my career I worked at the Pentagon for the Department of Army.
I am a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Harvard University and received my JD (Juris Doctor) from Brooklyn Law School where I was awarded a merit scholarship.

- Q. I have not received financial documents of a trust I am beneficiary of. How do I go to court to compel the trustee to
- A: Generally, if you are a beneficiary of a trust, and the trustee has failed to provide financial documents, you can petition the court to compel the trustee to provide an accounting.
- Q. hi Is a notarized signed and submitted Deed in lieu of foreclosure documents revocable by a plaintiff in New York
- A: There are limited circumstances under which a plaintiff (typically the borrower) might try to revoke or challenge the validity of a submitted Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure (DIL). Generally, once the lender accepts and files the DIL, revocation is highly unlikely unless a valid legal basis exists.
- Q. How do I cash a check made out to my deceased parents names
- A: You might be able to use a small estate affidavit to claim the funds. This process is simpler than full probate and could allow you to deposit the check.
