With over 25 years of experience in California residency tax planning, audits and appeals, Christopher focuses on assisting residents departing California, nonresidents who own California vacation homes and other in-state assets, and e-commerce/high-tech entrepreneurs who can live and work anywhere. His residency-planning practice has produced tax savings in the tens of millions of dollars.
His clientele includes Silicon Valley startups, professional athletes and actors, expatriates working abroad in financial services, retirees from successful careers, founders exiting their companies through a sale or IPO, cryptocurrency investors and traders.
Christopher is an award-winning author whose articles have appeared in such publications as Los Angeles Magazine, Environmental Ethics and Palm Springs Life. He has written several books and was nominated for a LA Times Book Award in science. His articles have won a Maggie Award, a GM Foundation award in medical science, and a Nautilus Award. His investigative cover story for California Lawyer Magazine on probate abuses was read into the Congressional Record during US Senate hearings on elder abuse.
