Christine Branstad and her team were everything we could've asked for! No words can accurately describe our appreciation of Nate, Christine, and their team. Our son was dealing with 2 very serious charges that carried life long consequences. Their communication was excellent and compassion was real. From day one, they were fighting, above and beyond, for him. They are very knowledgeable about the laws and justice system. Their expert witnesses were outstanding and their advice always lead us in the right direction. After 2 very scary trials, resulting in 2 not guilty verdicts, our son can move on with his life. Christine genuinely cares about her clients I have known Christine for 10 years now, I was a witness in a trial case that she won. I contacted her years later for myself for a theft charge that was enhanced from 5th degree to 3rd degree. The case was easy and I received probation. That was about 6 years ago. This past June, I received 4th-degree theft that was enhanced again to a 3rd. The County Attorney was wanting 90 days in jail and 2 years probation and a repeat offenders class. I was scared about jail time with having 5 young children. She kept reassuring me that I would not go to jail and would be willing to go to trial if needed. In the end, Christine was unable to attend my final court date due to a prior commitment, and the judge refused to let us do a continuous. The outcome went similar to what she said it would. I did not have to do jail time and ended up on low-risk probation. I only have to contact my lawyer every 6 months. I think everyone in her law firm is great. They have meetings every day to let everyone know what is going on with their cases, just in case they are not available to go to a hearing. The absolute BEST law firm in Iowa.
