Charity Wood is originally from Tennessee. She attended Vanderbilt University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology for her undergraduate studies. After witnessing unequal access to justice and want to help usher in change, she decided to attend Georgia State University College of Law. She was awarded the Dean's Scholarship. During her time studying at Georgia State University, she interned multiple organizations catering to underprivileged communities including the Georgia's Innocence Project and the Clayton County's Public Defender's Office. It was during these internships that she developed a strong sense for helping those in need. She graduated from Georgia State with high pro bono honors.
Charity worked her way from a client care coordinator to law clerk, and now a family law attorney. She is a team player who invests herself in her client's needs. She participates in research, drafting, and trial preparation for numerous cases the firm litigates. With her zealous nature she is sure to be a tenacious advocate for her clients.
In her spare time, Charity enjoys spending time with her two sons, reading historical fiction novels, and attending musical festivals in metro Atlanta.
