It takes more than a warm body in a courtroom to represent someone. I have never felt so cheated and misled before in my life. I paid $7500 to retain Aaland's law office and had to terminate their representation at my sentencing hearing and obtain a court appointed attorney instead. They refused to file any motions and there were relevant issues to be addressed. My phone calls were not returned and both Cash Aaland and Jesse Lange from the firm literally told me the money I had entrusted to them meant nothing. They didn't have to do anything. I appealed my case and the Supreme court eventually reversed and remanded it.
