Brian Silber
Victim Rights Law Firm - We fight for victims of sexual assault.
I am Brian Silber, a passionate trial attorney dedicated to representing victims of sexual assault. With over 20 years of courtroom experience, I focus on securing compensation and punitive damages for victims. My career began in 2003 as a prosecutor at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. During my tenure there, I worked in a special unit aimed at combating domestic violence and also served as a supervisor and lead felony prosecutor. In 2006, I transitioned to the private sector, concentrating on criminal defense and civil asset forfeiture before dedicating my practice to advocating for victim rights. I am a member of the Florida Bar and admitted to practice in over 20 federal courts across the United States.
Throughout my career, I have successfully represented a diverse group of clients including judges, police officers, politicians, doctors, lawyers, corporations, and many regular individuals. My experience includes handling numerous high-profile cases and over 100 trials.
Additionally, I am a Florida Supreme Court certified mediator, skilled in facilitating settlements without the need for court intervention.
My decision to focus on representing victims of sexual assault was profoundly influenced by a case involving a victim of a horrendous sexual assault. The profound impact of that case and the personal satisfaction I gained as the attorney led me to devote my practice to this cause.
I have always been driven to excel in assisting people during crises. Now, my clients benefit from my extensive experience as both a prosecutor and a defense lawyer, understanding the intricacies of both sides of the courtroom. This, coupled with my connections in law enforcement, provides a significant advantage and invaluable resources for the victims I represent.
