- Brian represents clients in all aspects of patent litigation at both the district court and appellate levels. He has extensive pre-trial and trial experience, including examination of trial witnesses, motion practice, Markman hearings, fact and expert deposition and drafting appellate briefs, claim construction briefs, summary judgment motions and settlement agreements. Brian’s work has involved a wide variety of technologies, including semiconductors, microprocessors, digital cameras, medical devices and automotive mirrors. Exemplary cases include: Samsung Electronics, Inc. v. Tessera Technologies, Inc., Case No. 02-5837 (N.D. Cal.); Advanced Technology Materials, Inc. v.
