Biography

Brett Owen is the founder and Principal Lawyer of Anvil Legal, a law firm specialising in work injury and workers compensation claims in Perth.

Brett spent nearly 20 years working in manual labour before a cement mixer landed on him while he was on the job, injuring his back. He spent about three years dealing with insurers, rehabilitation providers, and lawyers until his claim was eventually closed.

Brett later obtained a Law Degree and worked with the LHMU, one of the biggest unions in WA, where he did his Articles of Clerkship and was then admitted to practice as a lawyer. After working for a couple of firms in Perth and a few years later down the road Anvil Legal was opened in 2012.

Anvil Legal has helped many injured workers in the time it has been open. Our clients like Brett's willingness to fight for their rights and they absolutely love that we do not charge them a percentage of their settlement monies when they decide to settle their claim.
