Born in Mobile, Alabama, during 1989, Brandon N. Smith later relocated to Slidell, Louisiana, in 1999. His academic journey led him to Louisiana State University, where he earned a B.S. in Biology in 2012. Continuing his education, he enrolled in the University Of Alabama School Of Law, distinguishing himself as one of only two students in his graduating class to enroll in all three Consumer Bankruptcy Courses offered by the institution.
During his time at the UA Law School, he earned the position of Articles Editor for the Journal Of The Legal Profession, a role he held in both 2014 and 2015. Graduating in 2015, he embarked on his professional career by joining G. John Dezenberg, Jr., Attorney At Law. There, he directed his entire practice towards Consumer Bankruptcy Law, specializing in Chapter 7 and 13 cases.
On July 1, 2017, he ascended to a partnership role at Dezenberg & Smith, P.C., where he continues to wholeheartedly focus on Consumer Bankruptcy Law. Brandon Smith holds membership in good standing with the Alabama State Bar and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. His professional affiliations also extend to the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
