McCarthy, No. 4D17-1001 (Fla. 4D Feb. 26, 2018).

Blair received a B.S. from Florida State University and completed her J.D. at the University of Miami graduating with honors. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Florida Justice Association.

Serve as lead appellate attorney in personal injury litigation. Review voluminous records to analyze issues in preparation of appellate merits briefs and certiorari petitions. Read, analyze, and provide up-to-date information on recent Florida jurisprudence. Advise attorneys on pre-trial, trial, and post-verdict motion practice. Serve as lead counsel in complex capital first degree murder cases where the death sentence has been imposed. Review voluminous records from the trial court to analyze issues such as motions in limine, jury selection, evidentiary matters, motions for mistrial, objections and preservation arguments as well as Constitutional and statutory issues. Complete extensive legal research to prepare appellate briefs in support of the State’s position. Appear before the Florida Supreme Court for oral argument.
