Great Divorce Attorney Bianca represented in several legal matter but most recently for my Divorce. She was strategic, organized and well versed in her law. If it were not for her extensive knowledge and superior ability to negotiate my case, I would have paid an astronomical amount of alimony and walked away with nothing. My divorce outcome was one that I could live with.

Emphatically fought for me in my divorce Bianca went above and beyond. I had a more than complicated divorce and iIt was a breath of fresh air to have an attorney give you one on one attention, respond to your calls and emails and give you a clear picture of what was going on. Bianca knew what laws applied to my case. She got me the support I needed and I was as happy with the final outcome of my divorce. I would highly recommend her for your divorce and family law issues.

Legal Answers
3 Questions Answered
Q. How long do I have/how long can I legally wait to pay out the lump sum payment to my ex? (NJ)
A: The answer will depend on the facts surrounding your divorce, equitable distribution of assets and any contingencies that might exist to trigger a reasonable time frame of the payment to be made. You should consult with an experienced family law attorney to guide you as you will likely be served with a motion to enforce litigant's rights of the divorce agreement which frequently will include a request that the other party's legal fees be paid by you.
Q. Can I live with my boyfriend if I’m collecting my ex husbands pension? I know I can’t remarry.
A: New York law will apply here. However, under NJ law the pension is an asset of the marriage which is distributed through a Qualified Domestic Relations Order so it is not in the same category as alimony spousal support. Your alimony spousal support may be decreased or terminated if you cohabitate. You should seek the guidance of an experienced Divorce attorney who can review your marital settlement agreement to guide you before you make a decision which could impact your support.
Q. Does Personal Bank account equitable distribution is until Divorce date filed or until the date Divorce hearing in NJ
A: Unless otherwise agreed by the parties, the coverture of the marital estate is date of marriage to date the divorce complaint is filed. Any asset that falls into that time frame is part of the marital estate and therefore presumed to be subject to equitable distribution. There are certain exceptions to this which can move the date of valuation such as a long separation and there are certain factors that must be met. I would recommend on meeting with an experienced attorney to discuss the valuation with you.
