Successfully negotiate and write settlement agreements to resolve legal actions prior to trial. Mediate and arbitrate employment matters through Federal Mediation Programs and the American Arbitration Association, including preparing all required briefs, exhibits and execution of final agreements. Settled significant Harassment case through intervention and counsel for multiple plaintiffs through Federal Magistrate mediation brought through the EEOC in Washington, D.C. Successfully represented clients in numerous cases to include LGBT rights, Workplace Retaliation, FMLA, FLSA, ADA, First and Eleventh Amendment protections, State and Municipality employment due process violations, corporate employment and contract litigation, Qui-Tam Title III Federal Funding, and protected Whistleblower actions to include work with the CFPB and State Ethics Commission. He earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University and Juris Doctor from the Birmingham School of Law. Benjamin H. Cooper is admitted to practice in the State of Alabama, the U.S. Northern District Court of Alabama and the U.S. Middle District Court of Alabama, and the U.S. District Appeals Court, Eleventh Circuit.
