Tempest in a Teapot Seeking legal counsel from Ayla O'Brien, who claimed advanced expertise in Divorce, turned out to be a bewildering and extremely costly ordeal. Communication was infrequent, and when I did get responses they lacked any coherent context. When advice was given, it felt disconnected from any legal reality - it felt like guesswork, or something derived from TV. I was way too deep into this whole thing to switch her out - otherwise I would have. Documents and important (ie sensitive) paperwork seemed to embark on odysseys of their own, with timeliness and organization left by the wayside. Erratic behavior and consistent missteps further tarnished what little confidence remained. My experience with Ayla was horrible - but my ex-wife really made out on the deal. For those in search of competent (and sober) legal assistance, steer clear of this mini wrecking ball.
