Anne M Rice
Anne is the founding principal of Rice Law Office, PLLC in Laconia, New Hampshire. She focuses her practice in personal injury and employment law, workers' compensation and including social security. Anne represents both employees and employers in litigation matters. In addition to her trial practice, Anne advises individuals and businesses in all aspects of employment law, including workers' compensation, employment agreements, separation negotiation, wrongful termination, social security disability, discrimination and harassment. Anne has degrees from the University of Pennsylvania college of arts and sciences and the Wharton School of business and received her juris doctorate from The Universty of Connecticut. During Law School, Anne won membership to the Moot Court and Client Advocacy Boards and clerked for the Honorable Douglas Lavine of the Connecticut Superior Court in Hartford, Connecticut. She is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section, American Trial Lawyers Association, New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association, Belknap County Bar Association and National and New Hampshire Chapter of National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA). In addition, she is a frequent speaker on issues of employment law, workers' compensation and harassment, and is trained as a mediator and arbitrator by the New Hampshire Judicial Branch and the American Arbitration Association. Anne currently serves as a mediator for the New Hampshire Human Rights Commission, the NH Rule 170 Program and privately as a Mediator, Neutral and Arbitrator.
