Get a Second Opinion When Dealing With Angela Langlotz
I worked with Angela on a trademark for a new a brand my company was creating. After 2 phone calls with Angela, she assured me we would get this mark. She explained to me that the only way we wouldn't get this mark, is if someone else had registered it
before us. She was so confident we would get this mark, she went ahead an tried to sell me on foreign protection as well as a trademark for our new brand's logo. Angela was supposed to contact us once she heard back from the examiner (4 months after initial submission), but we never heard from her. I had to reach out to her to find out that we were DENIED for 2 of the classes most important to us because someone was already operating under that trademark from 2017! When asked why this was and how she missed it, she blamed the uspto website. Stating that "sometimes the website will glitch out and not show all the right results." For someone to use this as an excuse as a professional, and not stand by their work is inexcusable and quite frankly RECKLESS. If we hadn’t spent a lot of money on branding and development for this new brand I most likely would've chalked this up to a loss. But I feel like it's my duty to make people aware of this negligence, and I strongly recommend getting a second opinion when dealing with Angela Langlotz "The Trademark Doctor".
