- Angela concentrated her Ph.D. work on identification and characterization of genes encoding sterol esterification enzymes. She later completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School/Brigham Women's Hospital, where she investigated mechanisms of nitric oxide synthesis in endothelial cells. Angela authored multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and presented her research in many scientific meetings. She was a recipient of National Research Service Award from National Institutes of Health.
