Andrew Garza
No billboards, just results. $100 Million Jury Verdict.
Andrew Garza is a co-founder of Claggett, Sykes & Garza, LLC ("CSG") and a trial attorney that represents individuals in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. CSG is one of the nation's premier injury trial firms. Founded by two trial attorneys, each with their own record-setting nine-figure verdicts, attorneys Andrew Garza and Sean Claggett joined forces to help injury victims across the country.
As lead counsel, he has tried cases to seven-, eight-, and nine-figure jury verdicts. In 2022, he obtained a $100 million verdict on behalf of a paralyzed man and his wife, which was the largest verdict in Connecticut history. Garza speaks nationally to plaintiff's trial lawyers, provides trial skills training, and enjoys consulting and co-trying high-exposure cases where he specializes in conducting live focus groups and implementing Big Data studies to help plaintiff's lawyers achieve record-breaking results.
Garza has been recognized as Lawyer of the Year (New England Legal Awards, 2023); Trial Lawyer of the Year (KTI, 2022); Top 40 Under 40 (Hartford Business Journal, 2023); Super Lawyers (2016 - Present); Best Lawyers in America, Personal Injury Litigation - Plaintiffs (2024-Present); and is a member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. As a business owner, he has been recognized on the Inc. 5000 and Law Firm 500 lists.
Garza also understands what it means to overcome adversity. He grew up in public housing in Groton and worked his way through college and law school by waiting tables and tending bar. He has devoted his practice to helping those who are most vulnerable to obtain justice. Andrew uses his skills to level the playing field for his clients.
Garza is also a proud UConn Husky. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching his kids' baseball teams, playing golf, swimming, and working on carpentry projects in his workshop. Andrew lives in Farmington, Connecticut with his college sweetheart, Jenny, and his three children.
