- Q. We are thinking of opening a dog grooming business in Florida - what kind of license will we need?
- A: Depending on your county you may need to get a business or occupational license, pet grooming license, or any other local license.
- Q. What do I need to do and who do I need to see in order to being able to get the company shares and became a partner?
- A: You don't need to do anything besides asking your friend to consult an attorney. How your friend gives you ownership would depend on a number of factors such as tax considerations, whether it is a corporation, LLC, LP and what is written in the company formation documents. Generally, being non-US citizen or permanent resident does not disqualify you from owning percentage of a US business.
