Biography

Amy E. Orlando is an attorney who practices in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning, Estate Administration and Taxation. Prior to entering private practice, Amy completed a two-year clerkship in the York County Court of Common Pleas, for the Honorable John C. Uhler, after which she spent three years in private practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Estate Administration, Business/Corporate law, and Taxation.

She graduated Cum Laude with Honors from Wake Forest University, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, while also playing Division I Field Hockey, as a goalkeeper, in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Prior to attending law school, she worked in Social Services in Virginia and Massachusetts, and in 2003, received her Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School, in Boston, Massachusetts, Cum Laude.

Amy is licensed to practice law in the State of Connecticut and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and is a past and current member of their respective Bar Associations. She is an accredited Attorney with the Veterans Administration and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Central Connecticut Business and Planning Council.
