Alexander I. Passo
Latimer LeVay Fyock
Alexander (Alex) Passo is a trial lawyer that represents clients on a variety of matters with a concentration on: internal business disputes, emergency business litigation, breaches of contract, fraud and professional negligence. Alex has successfully resolved several cases where his clients have recovered over $1,000,000.00.
Alex is a problem solver. Akin to the most notable historical Alexander, he enjoys solving the 21st century’s version of the Gordian knot - complex business disputes. These types of legal controversies often contain a multitude of problems and he employs an analytical approach to solving them - first identifying his clients’ objectives and then creating a strategy to achieve them. Alex takes great pride in assisting clients in resolving these types of disputes in an efficient and effective manner.
Alex received a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN (Boiler Up!), where he majored in history and law and society. He then attended the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. Alex also served as Editor-in-Chief of a law journal and argued in a national moot court competition. He resides in Northwest Indiana (where he grew up and returned) and in his free time, he can be found pounding the pavement on a run, working on his golf game, or out for a walk with his dogs.
He has been named an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star and an Illinois Emerging Attorney by Leading Lawyers.
