- Alan serves as counsel to large and small investment companies and/or their independent boards. These investment company relationships represent assets in excess of $80 billion and over 130 individual funds and involve virtually every fund type and structure. Alan has also been involved in all aspects of mutual fund practice, including proxies, consolidations, reorganizations, and sales commission financing transactions. In addition, Alan counsels clients on a wide range of bank regulatory matters relating to bank investment management and trust products.Alan served as Senior Attorney in the Legal Advisory Services Division of the Office of the Chief Counsel in the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency from 1979 to 1984.
