Atlas holds a Bachelor of Civil Law, Bachelor of Common Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with Honors, all from McGill University. He also studied law at the National University of Singapore. He has been a member of the Bar of the Province of Quebec (Canada) and the Bar of the State of New York (USA) since 1998.
