Biography

Adam Rose is the founder and principal attorney at Rose Law Firm, P.C. His practice focuses on representing shareholders as they plan for and navigate business ownership change of control events—whether in a transactional setting or in shareholder dispute litigation.

Adam has substantial experience with mergers & acquisitions, business ownership succession, complex Delaware corporate legal issues, corporate governance, corporate finance, securities laws, joint venture relationships, and fiduciary duty advising.

Adam also has represented clients in numerous corporate and litigation matters: shareholder partnership disputes, business divorce, minority shareholder rights, derivative actions, corporate dissenters’ rights, and securities litigation.

Prior to forming the Rose Law Firm in 2012, Adam was a shareholder in the corporate practice group at Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt PC. Before that, Adam was a corporate, real estate, and securities litigation associate at Stoll Berne, PC.

Adam has represented clients in Oregon and Washington for over twenty five years. Adam’s work has been recognized around the U.S. and he is regularly called upon to speak to business owners, lawyers, CPAs, and other financial professionals.

In 2011, Adam was honored by the Portland Business Journal as a recipient of the “Forty Under 40” Award, which recognizes individuals who have excelled in their professional lives and made outstanding contributions to their communities.

Adam graduated from Harvard Law School in 1997 and is an active and licensed member of the Washington and Oregon State Bar Associations.
