As a misdemeanor Assistant State’s Attorney, Pat was assigned to prosecute over 10,000 Driving while Under the Influence (DUI) cases. During his six years as a Felony Assistant State’s Attorney, Pat handled thousands of felony cases including felony traffic and DUI cases, complex white collar crimes, as well as violent crimes, such as armed robbery, aggravated criminal sexual assault, and first degree murder.
