Molly was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She received her law degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings College of the Law). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from the University of Colorado at Boulder. During law school, Molly was a judicial student extern at the San Francisco Immigration Court and was also a Stronach Women’s Rights Fellow at the Center for Gender and Refugee Studies (CGRS).
