Mr. Bae started his law career as a military lawyer in the US Navy JAG Corps. He served his tour of duty at the U.S. Naval Legal Service Office Pacific (NLSOPAC) in Yokosuka, Japan, home of the U.S. Seventh Fleet. As an active-duty Navy lawyer, Mr. Bae tried numerous court-martial cases, ranging from misdemeanors to major felonies, including second-chairing two capital murder cases, one involving misappropriation of classified material on North Korea.
