Larry, the youngest in a military family, grew up in Leeton, Missouri and graduated from Leeton High School in 1990. Following his graduation he began his studies at what was then known as Central Missouri State University. Daniel E. Selarz received his B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2009 and continued on to receive his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School in 2012, where he earned Dean's List honors each year.
