Christopher (Chris) Huether joined the firm in October of 2007 and he became a partner in July of 2011. His practice focuses in the areas of estate planning, real estate, consumer bankruptcy, and family law.

He received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota Morris in 2004, and welcomed the opportunity to return to West-Central Minnesota.

Christopher Pracht, Trial Lawyer at Thomason and Pracht, is a native South Carolinian born in Anderson, South Carolina. After graduating from Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA, where he lettered in football and was captain of the track team, Christopher received his BA in Political Science from the College of Charleston. During his undergraduate studies, Christopher worked for the renowned South Carolina trial lawyer and retired Chief Justice of the SC Court of Appeals, Alex Sanders. Christopher’s time with Judge Sanders inspired him to become a lawyer and represent hard working people.

Erin J. Smith was raised on the Northern Neck of Virginia. She attended Christopher Newport University in Newport News, VA. She graduated with honors and her Bachelor’s Degree in English and a minor in Communication Studies. She spent the next two years working as a high school English teacher before applying to and being accepted into Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, DC. While attending school, she worked at the Alexandria Office of the Public Defender, defending indigent clients charged with traffic offenses, misdemeanors, and felonies.
