SMU Dedman School of Law
About SMU Dedman School of Law
SMU Dedman School of Law was established in 1925. The school publishes five law journals and has eleven legal clinics and projects providing the community with free or low-cost legal service. Students are required to participate in pro bono legal service in order to graduate. In addition to clinical work, students can gain real-world experience through one of the many pre-approved externships or by enrolling in simulation courses.
