Jason E. Havens is the managing attorney/member of Havens & Miller, P.L.L.C. His private law practice focuses on complex estate and charitable gift planning for affluent individuals and families and on behalf of charitable organizations. He is board certified in Wills, Trusts and Estates Law by The Florida Bar and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Havens received his LL.M. in International Taxation (Emphasis: International Estate Planning & Asset Protection Law) from Regent University School of Law, his LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law, his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law, and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Lipscomb University. In 1997, he created Legal Research for Estate Planners (LREP), a personal website that is recognized as one of the premier Internet sites on estate planning.

Mr. Havens is an active member of The Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, the Christian Legal Society, and various sections, councils, and committees on estate planning. He has lectured at various programs on estate planning, including the 37th annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning and the 24th annual Southern California Tax & Estate Planning Forum. He was selected for inclusion in multiple editions of Who's Who in American Law in the fields of estate planning, probate, and estate taxation and of Who's Who in America.

I act as outside general counsel for your company; handling business formation and compliance; employment issues; commercial real estate/leasing issues; and certifications (small business; minority; and women-owned).

My estate planning and family law practice includes traditional estate planning; funding trusts; estate and trust administration; probate; conservatorships and guardianships.

I also represent juveniles in delinquency and truancy cases; parents in dependent/neglect cases; act as guardian ad litem; and represent clients in mental health and other health care issues.

A graduate of Nashville School of Law, Mr. Thompson has over 30 years experience in handling and litigating personal injury and workers compensation claims. Of the 30 years, 15 years were spent working for insurance companies. Mr. Thompson truly knows how the insurance company works. Mr. Thompson truly knows what it means to represent his clients. Mr. Wright was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He attended Middle Tennessee State University (B.S., summa cum laude, 1977); the University of Tennessee (J.D., 1980) Order of the Coif, Law Review. He was admitted to the Tennessee, Sixth Circuit and Fourth Circuit Bar in 1981. Author credits include: Tennessee Current Legal Summaries.
