Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and served on its board for many years. Susan also serves or has served on the boards of directors of the Hollings Cancer Center, Pro Bono Legal Services, Inc., the Charleston Civic Ballet, the Carolina Lowcountry Chapter of Girl Scouts of America, Inc., My Sister's House, Inc., Charleston Theatreworks, and Charleston Neighborhood Legal Assistance, Inc.

Her prosecution of a civil murder case in a federal court in Atlanta gained national attention in 1994 and was reported on national television. John L. After graduating, I managed successful law firms that focused on family law and criminal defense matters in Lawrenceville, Georgia and Charleston, South Carolina.
