Legal Assistance for Seniors (LAS) is a non-profit agency serving Alameda County residents who are 60 years of age and older.We provide legal advice and information, representation in court and administrative hearings, referrals to other community resources, and community education and training on legal issues.

The Alameda County Bar Association's Volunteer Legal Services Corporation (VLSC) provides free legal assistance to low-income residents in Alameda County with certain non-criminal legal issues. Volunteer attorneys provide all the legal work on a pro bono basis.

Family Violence Law Center (FVLC) is a nonprofit organization serving family violence victims and their children throughout Alameda County, California. Last year, FVLC provided legal, support, and crisis intervention services to over 7,000 women and their families in Alameda County.

For thirty years, Asian Pacific Islander Legal Outreach (API Legal Outreach) has worked to tear down long-standing barriers that have denied Asians and Pacific Islanders equal justice and equal access to our legal system. By working closely with our clients and community groups, we can respond to our community’s most pressing needs, both immediate and long-term. At the same time, we have been educators, lawyers, advocates, teachers—working to instill in the API community a sense of its legal rights and community responsibilities.
